The End of a Great Campaign

Good evening friends!

Well, the time has come. Our campaign has officially come to a close. Although we are sad that this exciting process has ended, we are ecstatic with the progress the campaign made. No Child Hungry in Bradley County is going to benefit so much from the campaign and none of this could have been possible without YOU!

We would like to thank you, one last time, for your support throughout the campaign. We are appreciative for your commitment to No Child Hungry.  Just think of all the good that will come from your donations!

Now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for. I am pleased to say No Child Hungry raised a grand total of $1,218!! How awesome is that?! This was all made possible because of you. Thank you!!

Recess Renovators Wrap Up

Hey guys!  Recess Renovators here!

We are sad to say that our campaign to raise money for the playground at the Blythe Oldfield Community Center has come to an end.  With your help we were able to raise $45 out of our goal of $1500.  Although we are sad that we were not able to meet our goal, we want to thank you for all of your help.  Our group had a great time working on our campaign and we hope that we were able to spread awareness through the community.  Even though we raised only 3% our campaign, every penny counts to make a difference.  We hope you all have a great day and again thank you!

Help Cleveland’s Children Read with Imagination Library: Final

Hello Friends!

As you might already know, our campaign for the Imagination Library is now over. We are excited to share that we reached our goal of $1,000 and actually surpassed it!

In total we raised $1,004. Thanks to your generosity, seventy-seven children will now have access to books. You have our thanks as well as the thanks of these children, their families, and their community.

Unbeknownst to many, Illiteracy is still a serious problem in America. The Imagination Library helps ends this cycle and makes sure that every child has the opportunity to learn to read. This program helps children prepare for school and puts children on a more level playing field.

Anyone child from birth to age five is eligible to sign up for the program, regardless of wealth. If you have a child you would like to enroll in the program to receive a book each month, you can visit the Imagination Library website for more information.

Again, thank you all for sharing our story and contributing to our campaign! Even though the campaign is over, but you can still give! If you’d like to help please reach out to the United Way of Bradley County. They would certainly appreciate it.

That’s A Wrap Everyone

Hello all, Natalie speaking!

It is sad to say that our campaign has finally come to an end. We did not reach our goal of $1,100 like we intended, but hopefully we got our message across and raised awareness for this community. It has truly been an honor to work with everyone involved, and we could not have done it without all of your support. Thank you for believing in this cause and furthering our success by spreading the word, and following us along this journey. It’s been a great ride, and I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Final Day of Literature for Little Ones

Hey everybody, I hope you’re having a great day.

I just wanted to let you all know that our campaign “Literature for Little Ones”, is coming to a close after today. As a group we have managed to raise almost 400 dollars to donate to the Imagination Library in Cleveland Tennessee. This money will go a long way to provide books to the children in Bradley County this year, and we could not have done it without all of your help and support. We just wanted to thank all of you for your time, donations, positive words, or anything else you’ve done to help us along the way. Hopefully this campaign has provided some much needed attention to the issue of child illiteracy, and in the future the Imagination Library program will continue to grow. The three of us would like to thank you again for everything, and we hope you all have a great summer.

3 Day Mark

Hey ya’ll! Natalie here!

It’s almost time to wrap up our campaign, as we only have 3 days left! We have not met our goal yet, but we continue to thank everyone for the support and generosity. We couldn’t have done any of this without you all!

Remember as always, #FUNDTHEFUN

And if you haven’t already donated, it’s not too late! Feel free to visit our Indiegogo site!

Help Cleveland’s Children Read with Imagination Library: 3 DAYS

Hello again friends!

We are so close to hitting our goal thanks to all of your generosity! With only three days left we need your help now though more than ever!

We were very happy to be featured on both the Imagination Library of Bradley County Facebook page and the Governor’s Books from Birth Foundation‘s page. I hope you all got to see it! If you missed it click on the links and check it out.

We also made the newspaper last week! Check out the Cleveland Daily Banner to read our story and see what other students in our class have to say about the project. We are grateful for all of this publicity! As you all might remember, getting the word out about what we were doing was the biggest problem we faced at the beginning of our campaign.

We are $329 dollars away from helping the children of Cleveland, who might not otherwise have access, receive book each month. If we don’t hit our goal Indiegogo will take a larger portion of our funds that we raised, close to fifty dollars more! That is enough to send four children books for a month!

Help the young children of this small town prepare for school by donating and sharing our story while there’s still time. Thank you all again for your support this far! Now let’s do this!

Recess Renovators… Crunch Time!

Hey guys!

There is still time left on the clock to donate to our campaign, and we can’t do this without you guys! Can you believe there are only have 4 days left? As our campaign and school year come to an end, we want to thank each and everyone who kept up with our campaign and helped spread the word to help us make an impact.

The Recess Renovators are not done, with 4 days left we are going to use each second to continue promoting and getting the word out about our campaign. If you haven’t yet, check out our Indiegogo, Facebook, and Twitter sites, and keep sharing our links!

Let’s make an impact in Cleveland, TN!

The Garden Group: The Final Countdown

Hello friends! Garden Group here, Maggie speaking!

We apologize for our absence on the blog. We have been crazy busy working to promote our campaign and to stay up-to-date in our other classes. As you know from our last post, we recently gave a group presentation in our English 255 class over everything we have done to prepare for and execute the campaign. We have also recently reached out to every single school in Cleveland, TN in hopes that they or their teachers would feel inspired to get this garden up and running. Our campaign only has 5 days left! Can you believe it? As of today, we have raised $385! Though we have not yet met our $2000 goal, we are thankful for the support we have received from everyone who has donated to our cause. We are also grateful for those who helped to spread the word through social media.

We are currently continuing to promote our campaign and working to collect all the materials we have used to promote and run our campaign to submit to our professor in a final portfolio. This is our last week of classes at UT and sadly our semester is coming to a close.

If you haven’t yet, please click here to donate to our campaign. As always, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to stay up-to-date on our final weeks of promotion.

Have a great week!
